Some facts about paced cycle races
In a motor-paced race on an average six couples (stayer + pacer) compete with each other at high speed. 60 km/h is normal. But on the right racing track (at least 333 meters long; Olympc size) where curves are steep enough (46°) you can expect speeds up to 80 à 90 km/h or more.
